Cross in Safety
Equipped with smart safety systems, the New Xpander Cross ensures that you and your passengers are safe in every drive.
ACTIVE YAW CONTROL
The New Mitsubishi Xpander Cross benefits from Mitsubishi Motors’ decades of motorsport experience by adopting the Active Yaw Control (AYC). AYC enhances safety when driving through slippery and curved paths. The new Xpander Cross is able to enhance driver confidence by optimally applying brake force to the applicable wheels in order for the driver to maintain control during cornering, especially during wet conditions.
The new Xpander Cross is equipped with the peak hold function displayed on its 8-inch digital LCD meter which shows the driver the effectiveness of the AYC.
ACTIVE STABILITY CONTROL (ASC)
The New Mitsubishi Xpander Cross allows you to remain in control during sudden maneuvers. ASC adjusts engine output and applies appropriate brake force on the wheels so that the new Xpander Cross follows your steering intention.
HILL START ASSIST (HSA)
The New Mitsubishi Xpander Cross makes starting on steep slopes easy. With HSA, it holds the brake force for you while you switch your foot from the brake to the accelerator pedal so you need not worry about rolling back.
BACKING UP CAMERA
Extra eyes
The New Mitsubishi Xpander Cross is equipped with a backing up camera providing safety and convenience whenever you maneuver rearwards.
Optimized strength and safety
The New Mitsubishi Xpander Cross is equipped with Mitsubishi Motors’ proprietary Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body. This engineering design is made of energy-absorbing sections called crumple zones which absorbs energy in the event of collisions. The cabin is reinforced to provide protection to the passengers. Force is safely dispersed and directed away from the cabin keeping the most important part of the vehicle safe.

Important:
HSA: Hill Start Assist [HSA] is not a substitute for safe driving. Never rely solely on this function while driving on steep roads. Your vehicle may move backwards if the brake pedal is not sufficiently depressed, or if the road is very steep or slippery. This function is not designed to keep the vehicle stopped in place on uphill slopes for more than 2 seconds. Do not rely on this function to maintain a stopped position as an alternative to depressing the brake pedal. Please see the owner’s manual for additional information.
ASC: Active Stability Control. The control capabilities of ASC are supplemental only. Please drive safely and never rely solely on these functions while driving. Be sure to use the same specified type and size of tyres on all 4 wheels. Do not install any aftermarket limited slip differential on your vehicle. Please see the owner’s manual for additional information.
